SUNY Potsdam College Council to Meet Sept. 7

College Council Holds First Meeting of 2018-19 Academic Year

Potsdam, NY (09/05/2018) — The SUNY Potsdam College Council will hold its first meeting of the 2018-19 academic year on Friday, Sept. 7 at 10 a.m. in the Raymond Hall seventh floor boardroom. This meeting is open to the public.

College Council Chair June O'Neill, Hon. '99, will open the meeting, followed by a report from President Dr. Kristin G. Esterberg. There will be a presentation on SUNY Potsdam's efforts through the New York Stands with Puerto Rico initiative, led by Director of International Education Krista LaVack, along with students Alexa Ferrer, Julissa Santana and Lisbeth Zea.

The council will consider a resolution to update campus traffic and parking resolutions, presented by Interim Dean of Students Eric Duchscherer.

The meeting will conclude with reports from the Student Government Association, the Faculty Senate, and the divisions of Academic Affairs, Business Affairs and Administration, Advancement, Student Affairs, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

The next meeting will be held on Nov. 2, also at 10 a.m., in the same location.
