Local SUNY Potsdam student-athletes earn SUNYAC All-Academic recognition

A number of local student-athletes currently competing at SUNY Potsdam have been named to the State University of New York Athletic Conference Fall All-Academic team. The SUNYAC announced the team on Monday. The following students have completed the entire fall season as a varsity athlete and have maintained a minimum 3.3 grade point average during the 2010 fall semester:

State University of New York at Potsdam Student Canoe Racing Team Wins NY Championship

The student intramural canoe racing team at the State University of New York at Potsdam recently paddled its way to victory in the Long Lake Long Boat Regatta's New York State Collegiate C-4 championships. The 10-mile race was held in Long Lake, N.Y., and the SUNY Potsdam team completed it with a winning time of one hour, 33 minutes and 22 seconds. The winning team included:
