Space Still Available for Business Leaders at Event on April 8

Potsdam, NY (03/29/2019) — SUNY Potsdam is seeking area business leaders to join the 2019 Economic Fusion event on Monday, April 8 at the Barrington Student Union. The theme, "Develop the Possibilities with Potsdam," encourages local business leaders to forge partnerships and collaborate with the campus community.

The summit celebrates innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity, with a focus on the North Country economy, and the College's commitment to the community. Local entrepreneurs are invited to attend a networking session from 3 to 4 p.m. with opening remarks from SUNY Potsdam President Kristin Esterberg. A reception will follow from 4 to 5 p.m.

The networking session will also give local business leaders a chance to mentor SUNY Potsdam students and help them with their career preparedness-everything from reviewing students' resumes to discussing their plans after graduation.

Local entrepreneurs are encouraged to attend the event and be leaders for the next generation of students entering the workforce. Please RSVP by email at appliedlearning@potsdam.edu or (315) 267-2507.
