SUNY Potsdam's WISER Center Hosts Growing Community Social with GardenShare

SUNY Potsdam's Wagner Institute for Sustainability and Ecological Research Joins with GardenShare to Celebrate Food Justice

Potsdam, NY (10/29/2019) — SUNY Potsdam's Wagner Institute for Sustainability and Ecological Research will cohost the 2019 Growing Community Social with GardenShare on Nov. 7.

All are welcome to come learn about local food and food justice efforts, recognize GardenShare volunteers, and honor Laurell Brault from the Potsdam Snack Pack Program with the 2019 Growing Community Award.

The Growing Community Social will be held on Thursday, Nov. 7 at the WISER Center and Greenhouse, located in Stowell Hall. Parking is available in Lot 9, near the Performing Arts Center.

The event is supported through generous donation from the Alcoa Foundation and the Corning Incorporated Foundation. Attendance at the Growing Community Social is free, although organizers are asking guests to bring items to support the SUNY Potsdam Campus Food Pantry.
