SUNY Potsdam's Gibson Gallery Hosts County Regional High School Art Show
St. Lawrence County Regional High School Art on Display at SUNY Potsdam's Gibson Gallery from May 29 to June 12
Potsdam, NY (05/21/2026) — Works by young artists from 11 area districts will soon be on display in SUNY Potsdam's Gibson Gallery, through the 2026 St. Lawrence County Regional High School Art Show.
The free show includes more than 100 artworks by 95 students from participating districts, including Canton, Clifton-Fine, Colton-Pierrepont, Gouverneur, Heuvelton, Lisbon, Massena, Norwood-Norfolk, Ogdensburg Free Academy, Parishville-Hopkinton and Potsdam high schools.
The juror for this year's show is SUNY Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus Joe Hildreth, a retired SUNY Potsdam professor of art studio and printmaking.
A free opening night celebration will be held on Friday, May 29, from 5 to 7 p.m., to recognize the contributions of all the student artists.
The St. Lawrence County Regional High School Art Show will be on display in the Gibson Gallery from Friday, May 29 to Friday, June 12. The gallery will be open Monday through Friday, from 1 to 5 p.m., and on Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m.
Admission to the Gibson Gallery, located at Brainerd Hall, is free, and the exhibition space is wheelchair-accessible.
