Vestal native Michelle Faughnan named to SUNYAC All-Academic Team

Michelle Faughnan, a sophomore on the SUNY Potsdam swimming & diving team, has earned a spot on the 2011 State University of New York Athletic Conference Spring All-Academic Team.

Faughnan, a Vestal, N.Y., native, is one of 59 student-athletes from SUNY Potsdam to earn recognition. To qualify for the list, students must be a varsity athlete who competed the entire season, and must have a minimum 3.3 grade point average during the semester they competed.
