Heather Martell Featured in Cast and Crew for 'Back of the Throat' Play at SUNY Potsdam

2014 Oct 15

SUNY Potsdam's Department of Theatre and Dance is set to debut a production of Yussef El Guindi's post-9/11 play, "Back of the Throat," at the College's new Performing Arts Center. The show will open Oct. 23 and close Nov. 2.

The student cast and crew includes Heather Martell of Pownal, VT, who is the assistant stage manager for the production.

"Back of the Throat" unfolds as Khaled, a young Arab-American writer, is questioned by two government agents in his apartment -- and intensifies from there.

The play will be presented in the Proscenium Theater at SUNY Potsdam's Performing Arts Center. To purchase tickets, visit http://www.cpspotsdam.org.
