Eleanor Burns Completes Coursework through SUNY Potsdam's College in High School Program

The State University of New York at Potsdam recently honored 190 high school students from across New York State who earned college credit through its College in High School Program during the 2016-17 academic year. For graduating seniors, SUNY Potsdam presented special honor cords for the students to wear to their high school graduations.

The students included Eleanor Burns of Norwood, NY, who recently graduated from Massena Central High School in Massena, NY.

Through the College in High School program, participating high schools partner with the SUNY Potsdam Office of Early College Programs to award college credit for the successful completion of approved courses. Upon completing a CHS course, students receive academic credit from SUNY Potsdam, which is eligible for transfer to other colleges and universities.
